We got to the concert site around 6pm, door is open at 7:30, there's parking for patrons. They were seting up diner. I asked a lady at the reception desk if they upgrade tickets from regular. she said "yes." "you do? how much?" "$400" "oh..that's too much." We asked about parking, she said we can park on the street. It said 2hr parking but unlimited after 6pm. Someone else just pluued up and asked us about parking. Don told them how it goes but I tried to tell them, too. I was to walk up to them and missed step from sidewalk. It didn't bloose till next day so, Don didn't believe me since I was sick in the morning.

We didn't want loose good parking spot so, hang around the venue. I found a lady with badge and she said she works for the concert. Chris wasn't there yet but Jeremy was in. Jeremy coudn't come out so I aksed her to hand out a little gift to Chris.

There's lots of wild flowers and trail around the tent.

The tent was better structure this year and even sheats were studium style. It said not photo so, I got scared and didn't take pic.

Not much variety of food this time. One with pre-made sandwich, cookies and coffee, the other one was bar.

Don got me porched checken sandwich with ciratro, the bread tasted Italian, there were choice of BLT and vegitarian (the guy put accent on that..for me?)

The bar's special was Patron margarita and Patron cactail. I got that liqer with OJ like teqila. Later found out they were one of sponsor of the concert.

They didn't open the door at 7:30pm we got inside but only a few people were seated. There were only ONE couple in patrons' area.

The front of the tent says "no recording divice, no phone."

They even anounced that. I was afrid of getting camera out.

I talked to a lady left side of me, she lives in Denver, she went to CSO, she's staying till tomorrow to go to food and wine festival. She got tickets from her friend other wise hard to aford.

One lady wich bright red cape came in and she was wondering around a while but a asher brought her right side of us. I liked her everythingm make up, dress, jewery. She said she lives Wisconsin and Vail a half and half. she went to Beaver Creek ones, very close to her Vail house. She flu to Vail and Chris and Mark were in the same airplane back in February.

They made anouncement of show would start soon, Patrons came in and the audience got better shape.

Chris started "Ave Maria" and the joke of he wrote that and get paid, "peace out, Pope" kind of joke. When he sustained, audience's chear, Chris still contined, another chear after that part.

Chris introduced Billy Childs Grammy nominated, winner plus how Googenheim priz was so honorble, the standing O.

Before the show Don was saying "unknown guest doesn't have impact" but after Lucia's "Emannuel", he quickly stood up to be a part of standing O.

I think "When I Fall in Love", Billy did amazing solo, very fast plus he stroked both hands from very high repeatedly, so much visual impact.

Sy came out with turqoise long dress, sparcling shoulder strap. I had to take pic but I was way back plus I was scared of "no photo" but someone took pic with flush a few times anyway..

It was Chris' jeans night. He seemed to perform more generic. Not really communicate with specific person not even a seconds.

Lucia and Chris' "Emmunual" gave me tearly eyes. Next tong was " Look of Love", Sy was excellent but the part of the song " I can hardly waitto hold you, feel my arm around you.." part, Mark was puting his arms around himself, show his back and dancing sexy along with Sy's singing. It was so funny and I got more tears over my eyes. My makeup is not water proof, it was a little problem.

The substitute drummer was given solo portunity plus Mark's rockin' guitar. He looked like he tried to make guita hawing face to the speaker but It didn't work.

Chris was dancing with that song at CSO but he stayed to the side.

It was finale song and band came out and bowed. I took some pix, What a h...

Chris said he's going to play one more song but sugested audiece in the back to come up to the front. I took that sugestion. There was a seat a corner of front row but there was a purse so, I sat on like 3rd row but another lady came and sat on that front row. Chris didn't come this side anyway.

Chris asked what is the best seller jazz album or even all the categories. Someone said Kind of Blue. He got it right. Then, did Miles have big hit? No answer. He didn't have hit SONG. He played mood. It was intro fo "Framenco Sketches"

So, I got some of pix of Chris. He came down to the audience but not paticular serenade to specific person and played "One more for baby" acapera with Billy on the stage . H found young musician and had a short conversation.

Oh, There's music summer camp along this festival, when Chris introduced Lucia, he said she was in that camp 7 years. Think about her parents, they stayed with her and gave her ride etc. Yeah, really....

Ok, so, Eveything is done and Chris walked away from stage. Jeremy was there and I asked if they are doing Meets&Greet. He said "no, they don't let us.." What? No pic taken , autograph..no way...Jeremy said "but they are still here.." some people went in the door chris went in. I mixed in with them and went in the door.

I kind of noiced they had badges hunging from neck. I went in and I look back Don to come in, too since he takes pix of me and others but he was not coming in. The door was shut. It was even locked. Later Don told me the person watching door was about stop me but Jeremy was waving hands to let me in. I didn't see that. Thank you Jeremy.

Chirs was way in the back srounded by badged people( they all look nice like actress or actor, dress, make up, hair, body shape were so beautiful but they look all the same.). They were taking pix, talking. I was standing by the door. Then I noticed Billy was right there. He was sitting and on the cellphone. He looked a little different but I said "Billy. Billy, right? " and I gave him a flower.

"Are you on facebook, myspace or twittering?" "Yeah...."

I got congratulate him gogenheim award, said about bouncy solo, "yeah, every night is different..."

"I want picture..." then, the base guy came this way. ( I need help of his name.)

"oh, he's the base guy, right?"

Billy siad so and so but I can't remember. I gave him a flower and said I want to take picture. He said "picture of me and Billy?" Hmm, yeah, well." and Billy said "how about talke picture of her and you and you take one me and her..." " yes, that's perfect."

Chris is totally busy. I saw Mark and called him but he didn't hearme. Billy said "you are frien of mine, right? Myspace or facebook?" I said " I'm friend on both." He said name like phillipne or something . I said "no, I'm Yoshiko. Yoshiko Murata." He looked up his friend list and pointed out and said "oh, yeah, here you are." Cool!!

Mark was talking closely to a girl, I walked up and called Mark, I was giving flower but he said "not flower for me. I'll give it to her." "why? It's not red. You keep it and I'll give her one." That girl was saying " I like this color..." Then, I asked her to take pic of me and Mark, she happyly to do that. Billy came up and joined the pic.

Once I went in a little more inside, I saw Lucia. I gave her flower. She seems to be happy. I said I'm a her myspacefriend. There was young man standing and I asked him to take pic of me and Lucia. I saw Sy and I said "your had my dress on.." "???oh, you like that one?" 'yes! that's my color." "did you get picture?" "no, they siad no picture and I was scared but when you came out I did but I don't think it's good."

Chris came out and I asked him if he got staff.

I said to Chris sake was in it. He jumped up and "Sake!! was that in blue bottle?" "no, just brown bottle.." He grabed one blue bottle and show me. "that's not mine." He ran around and opened the cooler, all kind of bottles were in, looked in all the dressing room asked Jeremy what happened to the bag. Jeremy asked staff but it wasn't found. They asked who I gave it and I said Lauren but no one knows her. She had staff badge. I looked for, too. Well, it's the kind of think sometime works, sometime don't.

Everyone was drinking and I guess ate earlier. I would say if you have a teen ager or college age son and he invited his friends suddenly, you get all food in the house out and put them on the table. A loaf of bread in a bag..I remember Jeremy once said, he doesn't see who give them food. They just open up and eat them up.

With that sake incident, I forgot the young man still had my camera. Back to Sy and got pic taken. Sy was like Billy, she's on her cellphone. You see her report on twitter right after the show. That's how it goes but she said she was txting this time.

I got drum guy. I need help with his name, too. By the time, they let Don in. They wanted wrapped up and go home. This time I didn't forget picture with Jeremy.

I thnk pic of me with Chris looks goofy. I tried to tippy toe.

The bassist is Mike Valerio and the drummer is Greg Hutchinson( / Jody. thanks)

I got showing pix of my daughter, at winter park, married and had baby. Chris was nice enough to looked them "ah, ha, ah, ha..." I hope he think about later, "when was I at Winter Park...?" When you are busy, you get through staff but you think about later. You know?

Chris saw Jazz Times and said "they ran our of business!! Yesterday." OMG. They sent bill to renew for October. I din't send it

I said " I had buiscoti in the bag, too." He said "that's good I didn't get it." and he rubed his tummy.

That's the girl, I mean young lady who took pic of me with Mark. She was close to Chris and huggin and kissing twice (triple? a lot ) of mine.

Don had my camera since he came in. It funny to see them marching out with flower I gave. Don said the base guy was giving his flower to him but he told "I think that's the flower my wife gave it to you."

The people were nice( patient? ). Wealthy and happy. They don't worry about others. I'm trying to say, some people try to others have less or put in bad situation in order to themselves look good.
