Some time last year, Chris' tour schedule was up for Colorado, finally..February 13!! A day before Valentine's day...no way.....then, I found out it's Friday. I remember when Valentine's Day was on Saturday, 13th of Friday was busyer day. That's the hope. Maybe everything is done on 13th and I can go to concert. I told the owner about it, "you know..the guy played National Anthem on AFC championship..he's coming...well, but it's February 13th..." He immediatiely said "No. you can't go." I haven't gone to Chris' symphony show yet and it's downtoen. I catch train right by there everyday.I dont' have to drive long way to mountain or Colorado Springs. I really want to go this one.

I think in April, CSO started selling tickets but 4 show pack. I just want to go to Chris' show. I'm not crazy for symphony.... I think it was Augurst. CSO opened ticket sale for public. I stopped by box office and I got ticket. It supposed to be the first row, almost center slitely right. It's perfect. The keyboard is on left so, Chris usually plays a little bit right than center. Plus I want to send flower to Chris but the flower price goes up for Valentine's Day. |

The business has been slow. My hours, days are cut. I said " husbands askwives....Honey, would you like me to pay mortgage or would ou like flower?" That's in a way, good for me so that I can go to Chris' concert without thinking feeling bad. But it didn't go that way...Thursday, I started getting orders They had me to do 3doz and 2doz roses. Almost all day...I asked temporay helper to bring roses. 25 roses are in a bunch and we order 1 as a bunch. I asked 15 red roses to bring to me and he didn't beleive that meant 15 bunches. I got to get 13th's order done I have concert to go...Passed midnight...I have to go home. At least I had to get concert ticket. I got home 1am. I would have to be back to the shop at 5am...Ticket, CD, Uni !!!!
I ordred and got it on Wednesday. Bruce was so excited and talking about it all day long days. I cooked rice and went to bed. 30min sleep. I didn't have time to make up sushi. I made suhi rice and packed. I just took ingreediants. Chris have to put them together if he really likes it. Well.... |
One exciting thing is sending flower to Chris. No
13th. I knew it's goinng to be mess. I would do that a day before. I
stopped at CSO and talked to a person at counter if he would recieve
the flower and give it to Chris. Anthonoy. He said he would. I got the
flower made the morning of 11th before my day started. OK, 12th. CSO
doesn't open till 10am. Can I get good driver to deliver my flower?
I don't want contract driver and messed up. Yes, I got John. He came
to me before he left and showed me his trip sheet. I got happy. He came
back in less than an hour and showed me the signature of Anthony. I
called him but he was out of lunch. I asked the other guy who answered
the phone. He knew about it. I asked him " so, are you going to
put the flower in Chris' dressing room?" He said " No. We
hve it out here. Since he wou't come in till tomorrow, we enjoy it out
here. " "....well..I guess you can do that.."

13th deliveries ended up 1,900. We didn't really started 14th ordered. I got pile of orderes. Almost 4pm...All are little catalog order, little of this, little of that...I'm not gonna get them done.....
Chris.....he's comin' so close.....but this is really bad time.... Someone had to help me this situation... |

OK, this is the idea....there's last bus to go to
bus staion at 6:50pm. Get on the lightrail. The show starts at 7:30
but the first half should be CSO only and Chris' show is 2nd half, Anthony
said maybe like 6:25pm..I want to get there for Chris...I maight fall
sleep for CSO show....

OK, so I told my bosses, "here's my plan. I want to go to Chris Botti show. I'll come back and stay all night and do the orderes." "hmmm.... we'll see...." A little later, Jane, the big boss said "OK, you go to the concert when ever. You are gonna come back. That's what you want to do, right?" "Yes!!!" |
Bruce and I took day off on the day of Botanic Garden show and making
sushi all day long.
