Jeremy is the life saver. |
Intermisssion - I was cofused. First of all, CSO only first and Chris in 2nd half show but he started. So, Is this it? Shall I go back to work? Jeremy came out when Chris introduced Sy. During this intermission, he came out and checking something. I said hi to Jeremy then, he came to me and hi back, gave me hug and kiss combo like Hollywood style. I said I was really busy at work.(today was last day of straight 12days. Last week hour was over 80hrs.) He said "good. make money when you can."...does that sugest something? Less booking this year or what? This bad economy effects to Chris band, too? I didn't ask. |
Things are not just fun. A security lady came to me
and told I had to erase all the pix and video. She asked me if I have
other staff . "yeees. I do." "Then, delete what you took
here." " but I don't know how to delete? Do you want to do
that?" and I handed out my camera to her. She was struggling. Then,
Jeremy came back to the stage. I said " oh, that guy. he's Chris
Botti's manager." "Jeremy!! Is that OK to take picture and
video, right?" Jeremy said " yeah, it's OK." I said "
See. now, can I have my camera back?" The lady was saying Chris'
part may OK but not CSO. So, I cannot have CSO part recorded. Plus another
guy from CSO came out and saying like that. Jeremy said " We'll
play the song without orchestra so, she can video that one..."
"Anyways, put the camera away. "

Chris said he met a youg man who plays music during
intermission. He started talking about his young age time. He told that
young man to plug his ears and said " I dropped out school."
He told Frank Sinatra story with playing "Fly Me the Moon"
solo. The audience were like "Ah....." It was supposed to
be itroduction of next song then, he said " We are not playing
that tonight. Instead, next song is One for more baby.."
|
I think all the band were dressing up.I like that. He did solo with upright. It was jazzy and I liked it. Mark had some kind of bland jeans on. Chris said Mark had class. Mark turned around and showed his butt. Chris said "I said class!! Not ass." |
Lucia came out and this is the first time I've seen her. "Woooo, how the bra goes under that dress? Maybe she's young and she can walk around without bra..." Anyway, her play is so intense. I'm not fan of violin but I enjoyed more like I couldn't move my eye off from her. I really liked arangement of "Cinema Pradiso" |

It was hard to see Billy Kilson from my seet. He had solo and the audience clap hands but Chris had to say " you can do more than that!!" To me, his drumming was a little heavy for this venue. He will be sounds good for outdoor jazz fest or something. I wish he has more jazzy indoor version of solo. |
I'm tellin' he plays for me :) |
Lucia hugs Chris after her play. Like Olimpics figure
skaters clebrate after their performance, no mistake plus triples done.
They know they did good...that kind of expression. The first one, I
take it but she played another song and she did again. It was too much
for me. Well but that gave me an idea to hug Chris before the night
was over...

I think Lucia's play is the most appreciated in this
concert.
|
Lucia Chris combination of "Emmanuell" with
symphony...how respected piece is that?
|
Her play is so intense. Make me feel like watching
movie scene of someone is falling from toop of highrise, the other person
is holding hand to save.
