Peter Martin was futured pianist. I think I saw him with Chris Botti at Red Rocks and I wasn't impressed then but him and Dianne's corroboration blew me away. "Misty" was awesome. It looked like the next song was planed with a whole band and they were coming out but Dianne was telling them, she changed next song to another duet with peter and they played Bluse song.

Introduction was instrument, I heard that song by Will Downing but I don't know if he was the original musician.

Dianne came out. She is so pretty!! Good propotion, outfit, necklace, make up hair. She got " I wanna be.." look.

When she talks is music. The band plays and she makes what she wants to say to songs. She reminded me of Luther Vandros a little. His live was like that.

She got wide range of voice and she jumps octave back and force and hits notes. At intermission, a lady the other side of isle tried to talk to me and she wanted to comments how good Dianne is.

I was impressed base solo turned into " One for My Baby". I usually get bord by side guy's solo but not this guy. So, powerful, percussive. I don't remember base solo by anyone.

When I was entering, I saw Mama Cat, the hostess of KUVO blues show on Friday night. I asked asher guy to take pic of me with her. He kept saying "mama is over there." and pointed out. There was Diann's mother and nefew. That's the lady the song she says her mom's song.
Susan had plan and out of town but she had interview with Dianne a week ago. Dianne said someone asked her "where are you going for the vacation?" She said "to home!"
KUVO was broadcasting the show live and before the show started, Carlos was saying "people started coming in..." "there's more space on the lawn.." and such but I couldn't spot whrere they were. Some one pointed out way up. I visited during inter mission
Arturo, Carlos, Victor and ??
Gerge was on the side and I said hi.

Wendy and Mark their seats right behind me. They attend concerts together, play music together. They are dream musical couple.
I didn't decide to go to the show till a week before. All the assigned seats were sold out. I was going to chill at back of the lawn and I took a lawn chair but there's restriction of the size of the chair you can bring in and I had to leave mine outside. This is the first time I come to Arvada Center outside theatre. When I enter I asked asher when I could sit and they said anywhere green. Wait a minuet! There are lawn on the side but really close to the stage. "anywhere? So, can I sit down there, too?" " yes, anywhere green." So, I put newpaper down about 8th row. That was good deal.
I usually get Friday off so Thursday concert wouldn't matter but it turned into I would have to work on Friday. I caught bus from work oppsit side from my house to Wordsworth blverd and the bus goes up north came a few ninuets after, when I got Arvada Center door got open. It was so smooth but after the show, the bus runs only every one hour, long time till next bus plus other bus to trasfer not conecting well. I ended up calling ride to come pick me up. Then I -70 was on constraction, only one lane open, trafic was 5 mph.

I was still waiting at bus stop then, I heard the sound of sprinkler was starting. "no way.." My bus stop in the morning does that but that's a little spray maybe knee hight but this one was the kind shoot water out 20 feet changing direction 180 degrees. It was coming to the bench and I had to move back and force. I had to step out to the streed but trafic were coming.....

All of those were just that and gone. The memory of the concert is big and remains. I want to go back her concert with my family next time.

A while back, at work, a girl disigner just made 2doz rose arranged for the order and said "look!! this card message!!" It said "Congratulations to your Grammy win.".The order for Dianne. The driver came back and said " The actual person came and got flower. She was pretty."

This time, she had the flower on the stage. If musician put the flower on the stage like that, it worth to send the flower.
