December 12th..Smooth Jazz Wine Down, Darren Rahn, Jazz at Jacks...got there, door opens...thery were reheasing till then...the guy with sax..he must be Darren Rahn..wait...that guitar guy... I walked up to him and asked "..isn't your name something Selman?" (what a way of asking question!!) He didn't get upset and said "yeah, I'm Frank Selman..." "I saw you at Stapleton. You were so good!" |

Same time I was talking to Frank Selman, I started thinking about Darren Rahn,"that face..I've seen him some where...." I was thinking during the show...I liked his songs and play....then, flashback!!! Back of Soiled Dove last year!!! I was hunging around Jeff Golub by bar. The face was there. Of cause, I had to ask him. "Excuse me. were you at....." |

Chris Botti was on Larry King Live...the drumer wasn't Billy Kilson...close up...wait! that got to be Ricky Lawson...Jeff posted line up of Guitars&Saxes...2006 G&S aired on jazztrax, Richard Eliott was saying he's the drumer. Shilts played with recorded band. He introduced who's playing..the drums, Ricky Lawson...I was mixing up with Shawn Pelton and asked like if he's in Saturday Night Live..he didn't think so..he's the drumer for Guitars&Saxes..Oh, yeah, I mean some kinda conection with Jeff.....
